Vaccins vertraagd, griepprik later dit jaar

We krijgen de griepvaccins later geleverd dan sommige andere praktijken. Door problemen in de productie van de griepvaccins komt een deel van de voorraad vaccins voor Nederland later beschikbaar dan normaal. Hierdoor wordt u dit jaar later dan u van ons gewend bent uitgenodigd voor de griepprik.

U ontvangt hiervoor nog een persoonlijke uitnodiging. De griep komt het meest voor in de winter tussen december en maart. Ondanks de vertraging is vaccinatie daarom nog steeds belangrijk. Zo hopen we U toch zo optimaal mogelijk te beschermen voordat het griepseizoen begint.

Vaccine delay: flu shots later this year

Our practice will receive the flu vaccines later than some other practices. Due to production issues, part of the flu vaccine supply for the Netherlands will become available later than expected. As a result, you will receive your invitation for the flu shot later than usual this year.

You will receive a personal invitation letter including these details.

Flu is most common in the winter, between December and March. Therefore, despite the delay, vaccination is still important. We aim to protect you as best as possible before the flu season begins.

Welcome to our website.

Here you will find practical information about our practice. Telephone numbers, opening hours, e-consults, etc. to name a few. You can also request chronic medication via ‘herhaalrecepten’. Another service we provide is vaccinations if you are traveling to an exotic destination.

We are a neighborhood practice with two General Practitioners and a GP in training (AIOS), one nurse who takes care of our Diabetic, Asthmatic/ COPD and Cardiovascular patients. Furthermore, we have 2 psychologists and our amazing assistants of course.

Because we wish to remain a modern practice and fulfil our social function, we train general practitioners from the VUmc . Every March a new trainee will start and he or she will work with us for one year.
